ElderCare is founded on four well established GP training practices in St Helens, all of whom are linked to the University of Liverpool Post Graduate Department of General Practice; Garswood Surgery, Mill Street Medical Centre, Rainbow Medical Centres and The Spinney Medical Centre.
ElderCare is an independent modern NHS GP practice commissioned by NHS Halton and St Helens and designed to deliver primary care medical services to the elderly residents of the borough of St Helens on a home visiting basis. We hope to expand our services in due course to the borough of Halton.
We have a full team of nurses and administration staff who work closely with a wide range of health and social care professional. |

ElderCare is part of a developing spine of GP practices in the St Helens area known as The Federation of St Helens Training Practices. ElderCare and its sister practice (The Sherdley Medical Centre) are both under the umbrella of Aspect Health Ltd. We will be applying for GP training status in due course. This will be guided by the nine existing trainers in the federation.
